If I go to diagnostics, I can see that the tablet knows I am touching it (the blue light also indicates this), so I dont really understand what the problem could be.

I have uninstalled and re-installed drivers but the issues persists.

Any advice The fact that the tablet knows it is being touched makes me think that it is a problem that can be solved and I wont have to get a different device.

Wacom is currently working on a new driver update to support the new operating system.

The new Wacom driver will be ready by late October at the latest.

Due to nature of the changes in High Sierra, the existing Wacom driver for 10.12 will not work.

To continue to use your tablet uninterrupted, Wacom suggests not to upgrade to 10.13 until the new driver is released.

And based on the wording of the announcement, the old driver wont work at all, so upgrading to macOS High Sierra will leave you Wacom-less for at least a couple of weeksif you rely on a Wacom tablet for your work, youll just have to wait.

I totally agree with most of you about Apple and the 3rd party developers should need to work bit closer with each other.

Apple should be responsible for backward compatibility during OS upgrade.

The tablet (PTH-651K) worked fine on the laptop so I took the chance and upgraded the desktop.

That said, be paranoid; if your housing and food money depends on the tablet working, wait.

My friends comment the nice thing about standards is their is so many of them.

Had a lot of issues with installing and updating their drivers in all the years that Ive been using their tablets.

Why, ohh why, does this company make so many crappy drivers for their very useful tablets.

So its reasonable to expect a good working and up-to-date driver to work on every operating system in the market(MacOS an Windows).
